'Attention Age Doctrine' II Just Released
Wednesday, November 28, 2007
Rich Schefren has just released "Attention Age Doctrine Part 2.
http://schefren.infusionsoft.com/go/age/ppretty/
It's free -- as of noon Nov. 28, 2007. I don't know how long it will continue to be free. Reviews of the Attention Age Doctrine 2 will begin appearing soon on Blogs and websites, I'm sure.
The IM world is abuzz today over this long-awaited release. I've received multiple mailings about it. Internet Marketers worldwide are driving traffic to Rich Schefren's Attention Age Doctine II site.
Rich is known as the "coach of the IM coaches."
An announcement was issued via PRWeb not long ago, so the wires are ablaze with news about Rich Schefren.
Before the day ends, Blogs and websites will be filled with reviews of the Attention Age Doctrine Part 2 by Rich Schefren. I've already observed a man spamming the Warrior Forum with news about the AAD 2 launch, something I'm sure Rich doesn't appreciate.
It's another big Internet Marketing launch.

Head Start Audios From Nathan Hockley Help Internet Marketers Keep Their Focus And Absorb Critical Info
Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Eyes glaze over when you're reading? Lose focus easily? Having trouble absorbing critical Internet Marketing knowledge?
Head Start Audios from Nathan Hockley might be for you.
I came to learn about Nathan Hockley through my participation at Don Morris' 7dollarforum.
Nathan is a young man with a keen interest in Internet Marketing -- although it's the type of IM with which you might be unfamiliar.
He's just launched a website called "InternetMarketingHeadStart."
Great name for a site, wouldn't you agree? The name alone puts visitors "there," explaining a lot in just the domain name.
Internet Marketing Head Start features IM by audio -- for those who prefer to listen rather than to read. Lots of people are that way. They find it easier to absorb information through listening, rather than reading.
http://patrickpretty.com/internetmarketingheadstart/
Nathan's product is called "Head Start Audios."
It's for marketers who find it easier to learn about facets of IM through listening, as opposed to paging through a PDF or reading volumes of material.
Today is the official launch date of Internet Marketing Head Start and Nathan's Head Start Audios.
Nathan has been working on his project for months. Visit this hard-working young man from Adelaide, Australia, today.
You'll find that Nathan packs a lot of value into his audios. Among the key topics are traffic-building, email marketing, co-reg, list-building, PLR, forum marketing and strategies for Testimonials.
One of the things I like about Nathan's sales page is that he greets readers in friendly fashion, demonstrating the power of audio.
You'll hear his voice and get a feel for his personality.
I like Nathan's ideas. He has recognized that some people lose focus easily when relying exclusively on the written word.
You won't find much of a pocketbook pinch if you deem this easy-listening product suited to your needs. That's always a plus. :-)
Take a moment to meet Nathan at Head Start Audios.
It's a nice, easy-listening way to add to your IM knowledge base.

Patrick Pretty: Eye-Candy Blog Tweaks
You might have noticed that we've "blued" it up around here. That's mostly because of a compliment I received:
"You have the most beautiful blue eyes, Patrick Pretty," she said. :-)
Seems my large mug shot at the bottom of the page for "Pluck Forever" got to her.
We're planning some additional Blog tweaks -- and also some tweaks to the main Patrick Pretty.com site.
One of the things we're doing is reconfiguring the "Not Just Another Pretty Face" download pack. So, look for the pack to include new things come the first of the year.
For now, we've taken the "Not Just Another Pretty Face" download pack offline. It's important that it reflect recent trends and events in Internet Marketing, so a little tailoring is in order.
It'll be back soon -- prettier than ever.
Something else new is coming soon, too. :-)

Attractive Website Templates For Only $5: Give Yourself An Inexpensive Head-Start As Your IM Business Enters 2008
Friday, November 23, 2007
Not long ago I pointed readers to 5dollarmarketingtemplates by Robin Araoz Palmer.
It's an exceptional deal: 15 high-quality website templates for only $5.
You don't need Photoshop to use them, always a plus. You can edit them in a common html editor such as NVU.
There are a couple of good reasons to get them that have nothing to do with the exceptionally low $5 price tag.
Say you've been contemplating building a new site in a specific marketing niche. Robin's versatile templates package gives you 15 templates from which to choose. One or more of them is bound to serve your needs.
One nice thing about Robin's sales page is that he puts all 15 templates on display. There is a link to view each individual template.
In short, you'll see what you're buying before you pluck down the princely sum of $5. :-)
Lots of templates purveyors expect you to "buy first and see later." Robin's not among them. He shows you up front.
Have an existing product or one you've been thinking about creating. Use $5 Marketing Templates to build your sales page, and then deliver your product with $7 Secrets or Rapid Action Profits.
How's that for an inexpensive marketing plan heading into the New Year?

'20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online' Now In The Hands Of Thousands Of Internet Marketers
Monday, November 19, 2007
I'm pleased to report that our eBook "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online" is enjoying brisk sales across the world.
Perhaps you noticed the "Attention Ticker" near the top of this page. Make sure you click on it to find out more about "20 Ways." I'm a co-author, along with other members of the Internet Marketing Inner Circle.
Our eBook went on sale Oct. 8. Thousands of customers have purchased it.
Thanks to one and all.
Willie Crawford says it might go on to become one of the best-selling eBooks of all-time. Customers have appreciated the no-hype approach in the salesletter for "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online."
And they've appreciated the no-hype content. There are ideas inside for everybody.
I was given the privilege of writing the salesletter. The idea behind the product and the launch was to let the book sell itself. Well, "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online" is doing just that.
We're delivering the book using Rapid Action Profits from Sid Hale. And we're using "Three Pillars Helpdesk" for Support.
We sincerely appreciate your business.

RapidActionProfits: The RAP Script From Sid Hale
Thursday, November 15, 2007
Rapid Action Profits (RAP) is a robust and versatile script from Sid Hale that will elevate your web presence like few others.
Let's get you qualified first: If you sell downloadable digital products -- eBooks, "How To" guides, instructional materials, PLR products, digitized items placed in ZIP folders -- you'll learn to appreciate RAP quickly.
RAP gives you a flexible system that enables you to deliver your digital products to a thirsty audience. You'll be able to create an Affiliate program with Rapid Action Profits. You won't have an accounting nightmare because RAP distributes commissions automatically.
In the paragraph above I used the word "flexible." It's an apt description.
Want to set up a page for JV partners? Use Rapid Action Profits to do it. Partners enter their information in a form, and in seconds they have their own Affiliate ID to start promoting your site.
You also can set up a special Affiliates page.
The best use of the JV and Affiliate pages is to educate and inform your sales partners. RAP itself can be used to show partners and Affiliates what their commissions will be.
Remember that word "flexible?" You can assign JV and Affiliate commission percentages for both front- and back-end offers in RAP's highly functional back office.
Need to email JV partners and Affiliates? RAP gives you that functionality.
RAP also includes a page where you can insert your autoresponder code to gather customer names. The best use of that page is to offer customers a carrot for joining your list. RAP is a fine list-building tool, too. It works very well with Aweber and others.
There's even a Tell-A-Friend feature inside of RAP.
Need to deliver a One-Time offer to elevate profits for you and Affiliates? Well, RapidActionProfits can do that as well.
RAP essentially automates the process of PayPal IPN integration. You simply enter your PayPal address and some information about your website in a form inside of RAP's back office.
I've tested RapidActionProfits vigorously. I'm very pleased with its ease of use and functionality.
Sid Hale has provided thorough, easy-to-read, step-by-step installation directions.
Rapid Action Profits is an exceptional value -- a rare thing indeed.
It has my vote as one of the products of the year.

$7 Secrets: Patrick Pretty Is The Top Affiliate
Wednesday, November 14, 2007
$7 Secrets is a script that enables Internet Marketers to deliver a product of any kind, create an Affiliate program -- and get paid instantly via PayPal for each sale.
Affiliates get paid instantly, too. I call $7 Secrets "the little script that could."
It's an apt tagline: $7 Secrets has created opportunities for Internet Marketers worldwide. Not only can you benefit from the sale of products on the front end, but you also can create a "One-Time Offer" page with the $7 Secrets script.
OTO pages give you and your Affiliates a second chance to make money.
And 7dollarsecrets is a great list-building tool, too.
Don Morris is the owner of $7 Secrets. He is committed to excellence. I'm proud to be an affiliate. I use the script in several of my programs, including "Pluck Forever." I wrote about $7 Secrets in my chapter inside "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online."
I was happy to get an email from Don, announcing I was the top Affiliate for 7 dollar secrets.
Other top affiliates included Jon Saya and Willie Crawford.
Thank you, Don Morris.

Viral Link Tracker Link Demonstration
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
ViralLinkTracker launches today (Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m.). One of the features of Viral Link Tracker is a link cloaker.
So I thought I'd provide a little demonstration of how the Viral Link Tracker system works.
Here is a link I made with ViralLinkTracker for e-WriterPro, one of my products.
You'll note my sales page for eWriterPro appears when you click the link. And something else appears. That "something else" is what gives Viral Link Tracker the capacity to create viral advertising.
Note that the ad is for e Writer Pro, but note the URL:

Click here to get more information.
Viral Link Tracker is billed as the "most powerful viral advertising tool on the planet."
The back-office is user-friendly and warmly appointed. It includes 20 tools to help you promote the program. The Peel Away ad on this page is one of them. There also are videos, audios and just about everything else you can think of.
Essentially there are three principal benefits.
ViralLinkTracker includes a link cloaker to protect affiliate commissions. It also has built-in conversion tracking. Finally, it makes continuous viral advertising possible.
Take a look at the site. You might find ViralLinkTracker a useful tool.

ThreePillarsHelpDesk: Add Quality Support At Your Site
Wednesday, November 7, 2007
Three Pillars Help Desk adds a pro's touch to your Internet Marketing business.
I've tested "3 Pillars" extensively over the past two days. Today, for example, I solicited 15 volunteers to put the Help Desk system to a vigorous test.
ThreePillarsHelpDesk instantly sent out confirmation emails that the Support Tickets had been received. Included in the confirmation emails were the all-important ticket numbers.
And because I provided the testers a small gift when I filled their practice support requests, I know Three Pillars delivered the goods. :-)
I had no trouble installing the script. The directions that came with the download pack were easy to follow; I actually had my system up and running inside 30 minutes. I spent the balance of the time running tests of my own to various email addresses and customizing the system.
One thing I did was insert a Patrick Pretty graphic in the header template. And I inserted a table in the footer template that points out some of the products I offer.
Here's my support setup, using Three Pillars Help Desk.
The 3 Pillars Help Desk support system will reside on your server; you'll get a functional back office that's easy to understand.
One thing I did was set up a separate support category for a number of products I offer. It was as simple as typing in the products' names and hitting enter.
Presto! A nice dropdown menu now exists. Customers now can simply select the product they're inquiring about from the drop down menu. They also can categorize the urgency of the request.
I also customized the emails customers will receive when I've responded to a ticket. You can include rotating signatures, meaning one signature will associate you with one product you offer and the next will associate you with a different product you offer.
Three Pillars HelpDesk comes with a desktop notifier, as well. You'll get beeped when a new Support request is received.

This is a fine, inexpensive solution for your Help Desk needs. I found the back office very accommodating. Heck, I even hung a picture of myself in the back office. I get to look at me even as I'm wearing my Help Desk hat. (And you should see that hat.) :-)
One thing I should mention is that three Support emails to Yahoo addresses were not delivered instantly. This has to do with yahoo, not with Three Pillars. At least two of the emails were delivered 90 to 120 minutes after the tickets were submitted.
That's something to think about if you have occasion file a ticket through a Help Desk system and choose a yahoo address to have the responses sent to. They often will be delayed. Judging from things I've witnessed and heard about the yahoo filters, it's common for legitimate communications to be blocked.
Take a look at Three Pillars. I am happy with it. It's an inexpensive Help Desk solution that adds value to your customers' lives and your life.

Richly Rewarding -- In A Schefren Sort Of Way
Today I watched a remarkable video by Rich Schefren.
http://patrickpretty.com/businessaccelerationprogram/
The first thing that struck me was the production value. It's striking, indeed. And then I noticed the video had a rhythm and cadence. In short, it had a very pleasing pulse. It was exciting just to watch it.
Even the page on which Rich Schefren's video exists is something to study. It's crisp. It's clean. There's nothing over the top. The design is what I'd describe as professionally inviting.
I do hope you watch the video; this is not YouTube, to be sure. And I hope you read the letter and take action.
http://patrickpretty.com/businessaccelerationprogram/
One of the good things about the Internet Marketing business right now is that more and more people are understanding that professionalism pays. Man, I was impressed by that video. It's a journey worth taking.
Changes are coming. The marketplace demands them. Call it a New Age Doctrine.
One of the things I write about frequently is the need to provide an "experience" for website visitors. So many people try to become memorable by shouting. I've seen headlines on $7 products that practically screamed that the world would end if the visitor didn't pull out his or her wallet right now!
I saw the first of these months and months ago -- and yet the world hasn't ended. Today is a new day and I still (and hear) see lots and lots of screaming. What's the point? All you're doing if you do that is joining a long list of Internet Marketers who scream.
Screaming does not separate Internet Marketers from the crowd. It does nothing to help marketers distinguish themselves. Screaming is what keeps a lot of marketers inside the noisy pack.
"Another screamer" is what visitors are thinking as they click off the page.
It Feels Good
It has been a very busy past couple of weeks.
Work has been richly rewarding lately (pun intended, as it relates to Rich Schefren). :-)
Sales of "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online" have been brisk. The co-authors and members of the Internet Marketing Inner Circle (TIMIC) have been pleased. Willie Crawford has put together a good group. I've met many very fine people in the past few months.
Funny -- but the harder I work, the luckier I get.
Work is good for the soul as well.
New things are coming to IM -- new ways of thinking, new ways of doing things, new ways of promoting. One thing that's apt to change soon is launch strategies.
It's something the marketplace is demanding, I believe.
I'd like to leave you with two thoughts:
1.) "Time is finite. But choice is infinite."
2.) "Build the empire first."
Here's hoping you'll accelerate your business.

JVCashAnytime.com: Rob Richards Reaches Out
Monday, November 5, 2007
Looking to forge Joint Venture (JV) partnerships? JVCashAnytime.com will launch on Tuesday, Nov. 6. It is headed by Rob Richards and promises to be a great place to build JV relationships critical to your Internet Marketing success.
JVCashAnytime.com is a service through which Rob will introduce products to Joint Venture partners and affiliates.
I first met Rob Richards at 7dollarforum. What impressed me was his politeness and easy-going demeanor. Later I discovered that Rob had become a member of The Internet Marketing Inner Circle (TIMIC), Willie Crawford's group.
Rob said his plan was to build "JVCashAnytime.com" one member at a time. Membership is free.
Today I asked Rob Richards to answer some questions about the launch of JV Cash Anytime and the advantages of forging JVs.
"What can I do to get a JV partner?" is a question I hear frequently at the Warrior Forum and elsewhere.
Indeed, beginners and intermediate marketers often don't connect the dots immediately when it comes to joint ventures and the importance of building profitable business relationships. Once they learn a thing or two about JVs, they're hungry to become part of one.
Often, however, they don't know where to look. Rob has solved that problem with JVCashAnytime.com.
"Any business thrives and grows because of people," Rob said. "Doing business on the Internet is no different. Oh sure, we don't get to 'see' each other regularly, except at the occassional seminar, but we must still still rely on other people for our success. Vendors, customers, outsource providers -- we're all still people, no matter what title we carry."
Success Keys: JVs Are For Program Owners AND Affiliate Marketers
Rob said his visions for JV Cash Anytime.com is "to unite Affiliate Marketers with Launch Product Owners, in order to produce Joint Ventures which lead to Mutual Success.
"When trying to build an Internet business, specifically as an affiliate marketer or a new-product owner, Joint Ventures are the key to success," Rob continued. "When we come together to support one another, our reach, influence and sales total will reflect that team effort -- for everyone."
Mutual success is "the driving force behind this free membership site," Rob said. "Working together, the parts can be more effective than when working alone. That's what JVs are all about."
I asked Rob about the importance of building joint ventures for marketers who use the $7 Secrets script from Don Morris, the Rapid Action Profits script from Sid Hale and other scripts.
"The benefits of using the $7 Secrets or the RAP [script] is to grow your list or customer base by enlisting everyone into your affiliate program. When we combine this effect with the power of Joint Ventures, it can be multiplied exponentially," Rob said.
"When you begin a launch with more initial partners to promote your product, your reach is farther and your sales will be bigger. These two models can easily work hand-in-hand."
Make sure you give JVCashAnytime.com a good look. Don't expect bells and whistles and loudness at the website. Rob keeps things low-key and simply tells his story. His service could become a great equalizer for you.
My News Release about the launch of JV Cash Anytime is here:

Patrick Pretty Adds e-junkie.com Retail Store
I'd been hearing a lot about e-junkie.com.
On Friday, as part of my 1,000th Post Celebration at the Warrior Forum, I constructed a site through which e-junkie would deliver "Pluck Forever."
I sponsored a Warrior Special Offer (WSO) for "Pluck Forever" and "Write Faster, Write Better."
You can still get the special deal if you belong to the Warrior Forum. If the link no longer takes you to the forum and the offer, it means the offer has ended. :-)
Getting back to e-junkie . . . I am very happy with the ease-of-use and deliverability of the service. I've sold quite a few copies of "Pluck Forever" through the WSO. There were only two download glitches -- and I believe neither glitch had anything to do with e-junkie.
What I believe happened is that the customers missed the "Complete Purchase" button after making payment through PayPal. Or perhaps they pressed it before the page loaded fully.
In any event, I re-sent the download links. All was well quickly.
e-junkie is user-friendly. I believe they could work on their documentation a little and perhaps do a better job anticipating customer questions in the FAQ, but putting together a site married to e-junkie's systems was easy.
Basically you just name your product. Then you compose an email you want customers to receive. After that you upload the product. e-junkie then provides the code you need to cut and paste into your website. It really was easy.
One thing I learned is that, if you change the name of your product in the e-junkie back office, you have to get new code. Just proceed through the editing steps and insert the new code. If you don't do this, your customers will get error messages when they click the payment button.
Seeing how easy e-junkie was to use, I decided also to open a retail store. So far I've placed three products in the Patrick Pretty e-junkie.com store:
Here are the individual sales pages for the products:
I had a lot of fun this weekend getting my pages married to e-junkie. I still have pages that aren't married to e-junkie's system. But e-junkie has helped extend my reach.
To tell the world about my e-junkie site, I prepared this News Release:
http://patrickpretty.com/news/PatrickPrettye-junkie.pdf
Maybe give e-junkie a look-see. I'm enjoying it.
Here, again, is the URL for the Patrick Pretty e-junkie store.
Take care, Friend.

eWriterPro: Word Processor With Built-In PDF-Converter
Sunday, November 4, 2007
Today I began to offer eWriterPro, a software tool to create eBooks quickly and easily.
eWriterPro has a built-in PDF converter. Simply compose your eBook from within the program. Enter your graphics and links.
And then save it as a PDF -- right from inside eWriterPro.
Here's a screen shot of a sample page created with e-writer Pro. I put this page together in about 30 seconds:
eWriter Pro is a nice tool. Below I'll show you another screenshot or two from the inside of this crisp, clean program.I had fun playing with it. There's basically no learning curve. About the only thing that threw me briefly is that the menus use a slightly different approach than a word processor such as Microsoft Word. It has the functionality, though. And in some ways the internal menus of eWriterPro make more sense than the menus in Microsoft Word.
One key thing about this software is that you can convert the document to a PDF inside the program. The limited space in this Blog won't do the photos of the inside of e Writer Pro much justice -- but use your imagination. The interface is beautiful.
Here is another shot:
This is a nice product for your home office -- and your laptop. I'm going to use it more and more. One test I did last night was to copy and paste a large, existing Word document into e-WriterPro. The document appeared instantly. I had to do a couple of formatting tweaks inside eWriter Pro.
But after only a few minutes I saved the file as a PDF; it came out looking very crisp and clean.
If you have a bunch of PLR documents on your hard drive, you can copy and paste them into eWriterPro. In only minutes you could have an information product ready to sell.
This is a nice solution if you'd like to create your own eBooks and don't have Word or a PDF converter. I found it very easy to use. I was especially impressed when I noticed I could push graphics around on the page and the text would wrap.
With a little more practice, I'll become an eWriterPro pro. :-)
When I first started creating eBooks, I had to acquire the basic tools. This meant the acquisition of Microsoft Word, plus two or three different PDF converters.
eWriterPro -- with respect to eBook creation -- is a one-stop shop for the basics.
You can read more about it here:
http://patrickpretty.com/ewriterpro/
You might also want to take a look at Case Stevens' fine eBook on creating eBooks with Open Office.

Create InfoProducts In A Flash: New From Case Stevens
Thursday, November 1, 2007
"How To Create High-Value InfoProducts In A Flash" is a new eReport by Case Stevens that teaches Internet Marketers how to make information products with Open Office.I'm pleased to recommend Case Stevens' report. It puts power at your fingertips, walking you through the process of creating Open Office documents for your eBooks.
Save the document with the "Export PDF" command in Open Office when you're finished, and you have an information product to showcase to the world.
Case takes you by the hand in "How To Create High-Value InfoProducts In A Flash." The eBook is a quick, informative read with plenty of graphics.
Included are two videos and a free template to get you started making your own eBooks. It's simple and straightforward -- and you'll emerge with the know-how to make eBooks quickly and easily.
Case is a fellow member of The Internet Marketing Inner Circle. He's also a co-author of "20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online."
Willie Crawford relied on Case heavily during the production of "20 Ways." Case served as project manager for the eBook, one of the most successful launches of the year.
"How To Create High-Value InfoProducts In A Flash" is inexpensive, costing only $9. It's for beginners looking for the fundamental tools of Internet Marketing. It's also for Intermediate and Advanced Marketers who haven't used Open Office.
Open Office is free, of course. It rivals the expensive Microsoft Office and is a great tool for Internet Marketers.
Case instructs you on all the basics of product creation. You'll even learn how to create a Table of Contents and make chapter titles clickable. Meanwhile, you'll learn how to insert graphics and get text to wrap properly.
Say, for example, you have PLR products gathering dust on your hard drive. Give Case's book a read and start transforming your content into products for which you'll get paid.
It's a great tool for making eBooks inexpensively. Case uses Open Office exclusively these days.
Have a great day, Friend.
