Becky, although the US Government have, on this ocassion, agreed to return the monies to the victims of the Golden Panda scheme, this is not legally orbligatory. It is a sign of goodwill by the Government, who recognised that there ARE victims and not all “investors” understood what they were getting into – an illegal ponzi scheme.

Clarence Busby decided not to contest the forfeiture of some 14$ million dollars and the Judge has now signed off the case and the money is officially foreited and in the hands of the US Gov. If you go to the link that Patrick has put in the previous post, you will see the procedure for applying to recover some, if not all, of your money. Before this is returned, the Go9vernment will have to process all the claims and reconcile them with the records of the Golden Panda scheme.

Biz Ad Splash is another issue. It was not sugject to the forfeiture of funds by the Government and there is no money in the hands of the authorities to be returned to any investors (or ad puchasers). It seems to be going the way of all autosurfs – bust. There will be no recourse for members, other than suing the owners or their uplines, as BAS is effectively an illegal ponzi.

I am mistaken, I had invested money in Golden Panda under my daughter, Carrie Ballard. Was told money would be returned – but no word or information.

I had invested money in BisAd splash under my daughter, Carrie Ballard. We were promised that since this company was closed down, we would receive our money back. I have yet to hear anything from this company. Sounds like this has been a hugh scam. I would appreciate a reply as to why money has not been returned.

I guess we’ll find our soon enough if anyone online has “Stockholm Syndrome” or is addicted to losing money. I’ve spoken to a cop or two who’s stated that victims know they are being scammed but can’t help themselves….they keep signing up with the same scammers thinking “this will be the one”. I hope not…
