  • ‘Earn Profit Click,’ Scheme Targeted At Profitable Sunrise Victims On Facebook, Says It Will Build Its Program With Targeted Spam On Facebook And Twitter

An emerging scheme that butchers the English language and contends it opposes spam also bizarrely says it intends to build its business by requiring members to post ads on Facebook and Twitter.

Equally bizarrely, the scheme says it accepts Liberty Reserve, the now-shuttered payment processor implicated by the United States last month in an alleged $6 billion money-laundering conspiracy.

The scheme is known as Earn Profit Click — or EPC for short. The PP Blog observed ads for the “program” over the weekend on a Profitable Sunrise Facebook site. The ads now appear to have been removed. Profitable Sunrise was a murky international pyramid scheme that may have gathered tens of millions of dollars by using offshore bank accounts, the SEC said in April.

Since that time, pitches for reload scam after reload scam have appeared on the still-active Profitable Sunrise Facebook site. Both the SEC and FINRA have warned that scams are spreading via social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others. EPC’s full name is similar to “ProfitClicking,” a scam that rose from JSSTripler/JustBeenPaid, an earlier scam that also used social media to spread.

EPC is similar to Zeek Rewards in the sense that “members” are required to place ads for the “program.” In August 2012, the SEC described Zeek as a $600 million Ponzi- and pyramid fraud. Unlike Zeek, EPC appears to be trying to force members to post ads on specific social-media sites that may have heavy viewership. (Many Zeek ads were placed on classified-ad sites with low traffic; such also appeared to be the case with Profitable Sunrise.)

Here is a verbatim snippet from the purported Terms of EPC (italics added):

    19. You have to post face book ads in a group which have at least 500 members. If you want to post the ad on any of your friends’ wall, then the condition is that your particular friend must have at least 300 friends in his friends list.

    20. If you post the ad on LinkedIn or twitter in a group then there should be at least 200 members in this group. If you post the ad on a friend’s wall then there should be 100 friends in his friends list.

    21. In a group, you can post maximum 2 ads in 24 hours.

    22. On a friend’s wall, you can post only one ad during 24 hours.

    23. By accepting terms and conditions, you will be bound to keep the marketing material confidential provided on website.

Part of the "Earn Profit Click" pitch.
Part of the “Earn Profit Click” pitch.

Elsewhere on its site, EPC claims to be a “Rapidly spread advertising company” through which members can “earn thousands of free entry [sic] that are changing lives [sic] of thousands people [sic] . . .”

Meanwhile, EPC makes this text declaration: “We are a win-win game players [sic], as we provide our members a suitable era [sic] to win high financial benefits and helps [sic] to make their financial future [sic] splendid. We have the best minds from the field of IT to assist you and to handle the operations of EPC. Our mature, dedicated and wonderful team has twenty years [sic] experience in the field of online home-based business.”

A graphic on the site declares, “We are growing fastly [sic].”

The site reproduces famous logos and appears to trying to plant the seed that well-known companies such as GoDaddy, HostGator and the Ernst & Young accounting firm somehow have endorsed EPC’s operations. (The PP Blog’s research suggest GoDaddy is the EPC domain registrar and that HostGator servers are being used.) Promos for various HYIP scams appear on the same page as the logos of the famous companies. The HYIP scams include FastCashMega (“Turn $10 Into $20,010 Without Recruiting”); “NonStopPayments” (“6% Daily For 180 Business Days”); and “WorldConsumerAlliance,” a “program” once known as “WealthCreationAlliance” that launched as a Zeek Rewards reload scam in 2012 and published ad after ad for HYIP scams.

  • JUDGE: ‘All The Fancy Legal-Sounding Things’ ASD Figure Kenneth Wayne Leaming ‘Has Read On The Internet Are Make-Believe’

“The Court therefore feels some measure of responsibility to inform [Kenneth Wayne Leaming] that all the fancy legal-sounding things he has read on the internet are make-believe. Defendant can call himself a ‘public minister’ and ‘private attorney general,’ he may file ‘mandatory judicial notices’ citing all his favorite websites, he can even address mail to the ‘Washington Republic.’ But at the end of the day, while sovereign citizens and Defendant cite things like ‘Universal Law Ordinances,’ they are subject to both state and federal laws, just like everyone else.” —  U.S. District Judge Ronald B. Leighton, Feb. 12, 2013

A federal judge in the Western District of Washington has issued an order exempting prosecutors from responding to wild assertions made by AdSurfDaily figure and purported “sovereign citizen” Kenneth Wayne Leaming.

Like other purported “sovereigns,” Leaming is “fascinated by capitalization,” Judge Ronald B. Leighton said in the Feb. 12 order.

In a recent filing, the judge said, Leaming used the word “REGISTRY” in all uppercase in a pleading that was “undecipherable.” On at least five occasions during the course of the case, Leaming has filed documents that used the phrase “Mandatory Judicial Notice,” including one in which Leaming asserts he “relies in good faith on the public/commercial REGISTRY entries as published at
www.peoplestrust1776.org, inclusive of Universal Law Ordinance, UCC #2012096074 . . . .” the judge said.

“For lack of a better term, this is gobbledygook,” the judge said.

Leaming also recently argued that “the REGISTERED FACTS appearing in the above Paragraph evidence the uncontroverted and uncontrovertible FACTS that the SLAVERY SYSTEMS operated in the names UNITED STATES, United States, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and United States of America . . . are terminated nunc pro tunc by public policy, U.C.C. 1-103 . . . .,” according to the judge.

“He appears to believe that by capitalizing ‘United States,’ he is referring to a different entity than the federal government,” the judge said. “For better or for worse, it’s the same country.”

And Leighton quoted again from Leaming’s filings:

“COMES NOW, Kenneth Wayne, born free to the family Leaming, 20 December 1955, constituent to The People of the State of Washington constituted 1878 and admitted to the union 22 February 1889 by Act of Congress, a Man, ‘State of Body’ competent to be a witness and having First Hand Knowledge of The FACTS . . . .”

Purported sovereign citizens, “like Mr. Leaming, love grandiose legalese,” the judge said, ordering that “no response is required by the Government.”

Leaming, 57, is detained near Seattle on charges of filing false liens against government officials involved in the ASD Ponzi case. He also is accused of other crimes, including harboring fugitives, assisting others in the filing of false liens, being a felon in possession of firearms and attempting to pass a bogus “Bonded Promissory Note” for $1 million. He was arrested in November 2011 by an FBI Terrorism Task Force.

“Sovereigns” have been known to engage in what has been described as “paper terrorism” to try to hamstring law enforcement. Some “sovereigns” have been linked to various forms of securities fraud and tax fraud.

On Sept. 5, 2012, the PP Blog reported that an “opportunity” known as “Wealth Creation Alliance” was using a strange mix of capital letters in its communications with prospects. Whether WCA has any “sovereign” ties is unknown.

In September, a judge in Canada deconstructed some bizarre arguments from “sovereigns” and others.

  • BehindMLM Reader Claims ‘Excited’ Attendees Were Fainting At Florida Gathering Of World Consumer Alliance; ‘Program’ That Published Laundry List Of HYIP Ads Apparently Conducting 9-Month ‘Prelaunch’

EDITOR’S NOTE: Longtime huckster Phil Piccolo learned long ago that God and starving children “work” in MLM. We can’t help but wonder how many shills would flop over backward at his events if he ever finds out that fainting also “works.”

    ** _______________________________ **

A reader tells BehindMLM that attendees of a “World Consumer Alliance” (WCA) event in Sarasota, Fla., were fainting from apparent excitement.

WCA, with Paul Skulitz as the advertised admin, came out of the gate as “Wealth Creation Alliance,” saying it was selling “ad units” and declaring it was operated by an “Executive Dream Team.” (See Sept. 5, 2012, PP Blog story.)

Here’s a snippet from a September 2012 WCA sales pitch (italics added):

“We are fully operational right now and in our company pre-launch, this simply means that you are able to sign up for free and receive your business website and purchase advertising units as well. You can also refer and sign others in as well. We are also currently receiving payments and more importantly we are paying referral bonuses and daily profit sharing. Our pre-launch will continue through October 2012. We will hold our first major event the first weekend of November. (Details will be forthcoming)

On Sept. 7, the PP Blog reported that WCA was publishing promos for various HYIP schemes, including one that called itself A2P. A2P purported to be in “Pre-launch” and advertised these purported features.

    • 7% daily payout for 30 days
    • 10% income on 2 levels
    • Join Free!

WCA appears now to be stuck in “prelaunch” mode through March 8 after missing a November launch date. Read the comment by “Disgusted WCA Affiliate” at BehindMLM. (Make sure you page up to read the Sept. 13, 2012, WCA story from Oz at BehindMLM.)

  • UPDATE: ‘Wealth Creation Alliance’ Now Publishing Ads For HYIP Scheme After HYIP Scheme

ProfitClicking was one of the "programs" advertised on Wealth Creation Alliance today.

UPDATE: (UPDATED 11:51 A.M. EDT U.S.A.) Our first story on Wealth Creation Alliance (WCA) is here. Like the collapsed Zeek Rewards MLM scheme that the SEC accused last month of being a $600 million Ponzi- and pyramid fraud, WCA preemptively denies it is an investment company. And WCA also specifically denies in is an “HYIP,” despite the fact it claims that a $2 “purchase” of an “ad unit” will return $3.25.

Apparently positioning itself as an “advertising” company, WCA now is publishing ads for HYIP scheme after HYIP scheme on its website. One of the ads is for “ProfitClicking,” the apparent successor scam to the JSS/Tripler/JustBeenPaid scheme that seeks to make members affirm they are not with the “government” while simultaneously seeking to disclaim any responsibility on the part of itself and affiliates for advancing the scheme, which plants the Zeek-like seed that annualized returns in the hundreds of percent are there for the making.

Another ad on the WCA site today read as follows (italics added):

    New A2P Pre-launch
    7% daily for 30 days
    10% income on 2 levels
    Join Free!

A2P is shorthand for Alert2Pay, which purports to have a “ShortTerm Plan” for 30 days and a “LongTerm Plan” for 70 days. Both plans permit “compounding,” a key marker of an HYIP scam.

And Alert2Pay also explains what it is not, another key marker of a scam.

“Alert2pay is not a hyip, not a mlm, not a doubler and definitely not a cycler. We’re a Targeted Email Advertising company that’s Paying You Daily Cash Back on ALL Your Advertising Purchases. We sit under the umbrella called AI Corp, (AlertInvest Corporation). Alert2Pay.com is the first website under the AI Corp umbrella.”

Another “program” pitched on WCA is something called HourHour. Here is the text pitch (italics added):

    Get 120% in 5 days!
    Paying hourly!
    Licensed Script!

HourHour purports to pay “1% FIXED HOURLY FOR 120 HOURS” or “150% AFTER 240 HOURS.” Meanwhile, the HourHour “program” advertises that its accepts SolidTrustPay and other offshore payment processors. SolidTrustPay has been linked to fraud scheme after fraud scheme and was one of the processors used by Zeek.

  • UNBELIEVABLE: In Wake Of Zeek Collapse, Members Get Pitch For ‘Wealth Creation Alliance’; Promo Features Strange Use Of Capital Letters; Pitchmen Are Called ‘Prosperity Advocates’ — And Promo Claims Tie To Bank Of America

UPDATED 11:55 A.M. EDT (U.S.A.) On Aug. 17, the SEC accused the purported Zeek Rewards revenue-sharing program of being a $600 million Ponzi- and pyramid scheme that had affected more than 1 million people. Zeek was touted on the MoneyMakerGroup and TalkGold Ponzi forums.

Now comes word that Zeek members are being pitched on a “program” known as “Wealth Creation Alliance” (WCA), which declares it is operated by an “Executive Dream Team,” makes strange use of capital letters in a sales promo, calls its pitchmen “prosperity advocates” and also has a presence on the Ponzi boards.

Like Zeek, WCA says members can send in sums of up to $10,000.

Zeek said participants were purchasing “bids”; WCA says its product is “ad units.”

The WCA “program” according to one promoter, touts a relationship with offshore payment processors and even Bank of America.

Bank of America also handled the banking for the 2008 AdSurfDaily Ponzi scheme, according to federal court files. A tie to the emerging WCA “program” could not immediately be confirmed.

Like ASD and Zeek, WCA has a purported “advertising” component and tiered commissions, according to one promo for the “opportunity” viewed by the PP Blog. Zeek-like language also is present in WCA. Both companies, for example, purport to operate (or have operated) a “profit pool.”

Some Ponzi-board apologists for Zeek have described it as a “freedom company.” WCA, meanwhile, says it “will apply the proven “Free Enterprise” formula” and emerge as a firm “Of the People, For the People and Built By the People.”

These email remarks (below/italics added) were received by at least one Zeek member and were attributed to Paul Skulitz, the purported owner of WCA. Many of the words on the left margin curiously begin with capital letters, which leads to questions about whether WCA and/or its pitchmen are communicating in code to certain prospects and are sympathetic to the so-called “sovereign citizens” movement.

Some “sovereign citizens” are preoccupied by the use of capital letters.

The capital letters in the first words in the first three lines of the email form the acronym “WCA,” for instance. Whether WCA has any “sovereign” ties is unknown.
