URGENT >> BULLETIN >> MOVING: (4th update 5:29 p.m. EDT U.S.A.) The Boston Globe, citing confirmation from the office of U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz, is reporting that TelexFree figure James Merrill has been arrested.

Ortiz is the top federal prosecutor in the District of Massachusetts.

Ortiz’ office confirmed the Merrill arrest to the PP Blog at 3:13 p.m, adding that an arrest warrant has been issued for TelexFree figure Carlos Wanzeler.

    I’ve been nosing around, and so far can’t confirm this, but several Facebook sites are indicating she’s in Peru. Weird.

    I don’t know if anyone else remembers this but there was a video of Faith Sloan a while back that showed her schlepping around some sun burnt field with an old gentleman talking about buying land?
    Does anyone remember? I think it may have been Peru…but not sure. I don’t know if the video would still exhist on line anymore.

    I guess she has never heard of extradition if she truly has fled to Peru or wherever. I am surprised she wasn’t banned from traveling outside the U.S. The U.S. Attorney should have confiscated her passport when she was indicted.

    She has not been indicted, only named in a civil suit, the SEC cannot bring criminal charges. I’m curious as to the freezing of her accounts, if it includes all of her assets and how much she has offshore. She’s actually not much of a real flight risk I would think, she’s apparently very close to her parents and I get the impression she was supporting them to one degree or another. Also, I have seen that she lives with her parents, who owns the house, and if its her, is it subject to seizure?
