New Zealand Calls Profitable Sunrise ‘Illegal,’ Issues Warning, Cites YouTube Promos — And Suggests U.S.-Based Recruitment Arm May Be Part Of Scam
The Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand (FMA) has joined regulators in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom in issuing a warning on the Profitable Sunrise HYIP “program.” New Zealand’s warning also extends to NJF Global Group, which appears to be a Profitable Sunrise recruitment organization operating from the United States. (More below.)
FMA’s announcement described Profitable Sunrise as “illegal,” saying the “program” also is known as ProSun and is being advertised on YouTube by an individual named Robert “Bob” Hughes. The “NJF” initials appear to stand for Profitable Sunrise promoter Nanci Jo Frazer of Ohio. The NJF Global Group now appears to be calling itself “The Global Impact Resource Alliance Group.”
North Carolina regulators said late last month that Profitable Sunrise listed a business address in the United Kingdom and was asking that money be sent by wire to the Czech Republic. Warnings subsequently were issued by the state of Alabama, the Financial Services Authority of the United Kingdom and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec.
At least some of the Profitable Sunrise videos attributed to Hughes appear to have been removed from YouTube or to have been blocked from public access. Google cache (from Feb. 10, 2013) shows that the videos also touted NJF Global Group and positioned Profitable Sunrise as a better option than “Banners Broker.” One of the videos was titled “Income From Profitable Sunrise Blows Away What You Can Make With Banners Broker.” Another was titled “Forget Banners Broker & Make Real Money With Profitable Sunrise & NJF Global Group.”
Like Profitable Sunrise, Banners Broker also is being promoted on well-known Ponzi scheme forums such as TalkGold and MoneyMakerGroup.
There were reports today that Banners Broker has been stripped of its ability to distribute money via MasterCard debit cards. Other Ponzi-board “programs,” including Imperia Invest IBC in 2010, have met similar fates. Imperia was met with a cease-and-desist order from Visa. An action by the SEC to halt Imperia’s operations followed.
Other Profitable Sunrise videos attributed to Hughes made headline appeals to populations in entire countries and had titles such as:
- “Our NJF Global Team In Profitable Sunrise Invites Those In New Zealand To Join Us”
- “Our Private NJF Global Team In Profitable Sunrise Is Inviting Those In Korea To Join Us”
- “Our NJF Global Group In Profitable Sunrise Invites Those From India To Join Our Top Team”

Here is the New Zealand warning, as published March 11 (italics added):
Warning: Beware of offerings of securities made by NJF Global Group and Profitable Sunrise
11 March 2013
The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) warns the public of an illegal offering of securities by Profitable Sunrise (Prosun) and/or NGF Global Group which has been advertised on ‘youtube’ by Mr Robert(Bob)Hughes, also known as Bob Hughes.
It is FMA’s understanding that these entities are operating from the UK and the US.
FMA is concerned that Prosun is illegally offering securities to the public in New Zealand in breach of NZ securities law, and warns New Zealanders not to invest in the above entities.
If you have invested with Profitable Sunrise or NJF Global Group, FMA would like to hear from you. Please contact our helpline on 0800 434 567.
For someone who was so vocal estolling the virtues of being in ProSun, as she called it, Nanci Jo Frazer has not only scrubbed her websites but also all her videos, has also scrubbed her group’s conference calls since back from her vacation. Seems to only be talking to a select group on Skype.
If you are part of Nanci Jo’s group, I would be asking why?
US has not called PS a scam. So why lie? NC just wants information about the workings of the company. Good ole internet, as usual, good for nothing
Ya feel pretty dumb for saying that yet?
So the “cease and desist” mean nothing to you, JoEY?
I live in Alberta, Canada. I invested $1000.oo with SunRise 2 months ago….I have been getting reports on how my investment was growing…Last one was about $2400.oo
My question is What happened to SunRise?
Has it disappeared already?
Thank you
Celso
It was a scam from the get go, your money was gone when you sent it in, either to earlier participants to create the appearance of legitimacy, or flat out stolen by the people running the “program”.
It is beyond comprehension how much bogus info is out there. Let’s start from the beginning: THE UNITED STATES HAS NOT DEEMED PROSUN/NJF ILLEGAL/PONZI SCHEME OR OTHERWISE. I am part of a group of people who have been making money with ProSun since last year. I won’t name names but I assure you, if I or my other associates smelled a “rat” with this program, we would have been gone along time ago. Many of my associates have entered the program several times and are enjoying the rewards as am I. Nonsense like this is perpetuated by people who 1)fear success; 2)hate successful people; 3) misinformation rats/junkies; 4) or just generally don’t have anything better to do. The ignorance level is so high because your typical “investor” doesn’t really even know how to invest or how to identify a true investment. Opportunities like this are typically relegated to wealthy people. You ignorant ones out there have no clue as to what ProSun is or even have an understanding as to how it “works”. It really is quite simple and wealthy people have had access to opportunities like this forever. If you wish to become financially free, this is one of MANY such vehicles. But it is a good vehicle to get started with due to extremely limited risk. I can only imagine what would be said if I share a program where you were able to realistically make 200-500% in a month or less. So many of you have no idea and that’s why you will always whine and always be broke. God Bless you all as the meek shall inherit the earth.
sad
Agreed, LRM.

Dreck — every single word of it. These are the talking points of fools.

WOW! That goes way beyond being “Wilfully blind” or even “Oblivious to the obvious”…
Totally Delusional. Seek psychiatric help asap!

I couldn’t have said this better if I was the devil. And then as a footnote to spiritualize it…..priceless! I am reminded in the bible as some who say, I did this in your name and I did that in your name, and He said in return,…….I never knew you!!! Because, in the end, you did it for yourself. Not for others, but for yourself….in your name, for yourself and tried to claim, you did it for Him by quoting flippantly his Word in your devious devices. Beware of those who make merchandise of you. Nancy Jo Frazer needs to repent of what she is doing to others and then claiming it is to further her charity and others as well. I would say have real charity in your heart(concern for others, not really yourself)before your recite the wonderful benefits that your charity does. The 501c3 is really a cover to steal and call it the work of God. A modern day Robin Hood, only a twist…..steals from the poor to give to the rich(herself). Hopefully, you will come to yourself like the prodical son did. Hopefully, for God really does love you, Nancy. He really does.
I would like to know what is going on with profitable or prosun ? Is the site gone or is they just changing things up
Howdy Denise,
It is ~almost~ certain that the website will never come online. I’m sure by now you’ve come to understand that “Roman” was not making millions and millions of dollars with bridge loans and sharing those profits with Pro Sun investors. He was just using one investors money to pay another investor profits.
If the website came online today how many people do you think there would be falling over themselves to put fresh money into Pro Sun? If the website came online today how many people do you think there would be trying to cash out as much as they could? This is the real reason the website is offline.
I’m sorry and I hope you didn’t lose too much.
I totally agree with you. I have made money with ProSun as well.I was only in for 2weeks when the website went down . However I was able to pull down 1000% of what I put in.Whose scamming who.we were able to take interest from our private account daily. that was our assurance. If we chose not to do so that was on you. I am looking forward to my Easter gift. Thanks for the encouragement.
Pull the other one Lewis.
If as you say, you were only in PS for two weeks you didn’t get a 1,000% return on investment. I’m not going to call you a bleeding idiot and would thank you for not trying to pretend we’re one either.
Lewis… do you remember what multiplication tables are from grade school? Your claim of two weeks and a thousand percent return in that time is mathematically impossible, even by the lunatic reasoning of HYIP promoters and “positive thinking” gurus. What I see is a man who put in money that he could not afford, and is now soiling himself in terror of the consequences of losing it.
