UPDATE: ‘OneX’ Site Has Been Down For Days
Retooling as it hatches a plan to launch anew? Huddling with its mysterious lawyer because the U.S. Department of Justice called it a “fraudulent scheme” and “pyramid” pushed by an accused felon awaiting trial in his Ponzi scheme case?
The website of “OneX” has been displaying an “under maintenance” message for days. The development occurs against the backdrop of former OneX pitchman and AdSurfDaily President Andy Bowdoin’s guilty plea to wire fraud in the ASD Ponzi case May 18. In April, federal prosecutors said ASD stalwarts Rayda Roundy and Tari Steward had helped Bowdoin pitch OneX.
Those pitches began in October 2011, with Bowdoin saying he’d use his OneX earnings to pay for his criminal defense in the ASD Ponzi case. Steward is listed in court filings as a potential witness for Bowdoin in his trial on Ponzi-related charges.
Bowdoin, though, pleaded guilty prior to his trial date, which had been set for Sept. 24.
Just days before his guilty plea, a fellow OneX pitchman known as “Alan” asserted that Bowdoin was “our Mentor,” according to an email some ASD members received.
In at least one of the OneX pitches, Roundy asserted that OneX had a “top attorney.” She did not identify the attorney.
Bowdoin claimed “college students” were great prospects for OneX. But the ASD patriarch did not identify the operators or braintrust behind OneX or say where the “program” was operating from. Instead, he told prospects that they could earn $99,000 very quickly through OneX.
Federal prosecutors now say OneX was recycling money in ASD-like fashion. They also say they’ve linked Bowdoin to AdViewGlobal, an autosurf that launched after the seizure of tens of millions of dollars in the ASD Ponzi case in 2008 and disappeared in the summer of 2009 under mysterious circumstances.
Like ASD’s website during its Ponzi run, the OneX website has a history of going missing for days. It was offline and reportedly under maintenance during the 2011 Holiday season. Now, it’s under maintenance on the heels of Bowdoin’s guilty plea.
In 2009 — after the ASD seizure — Bowdoin also pitched a mysterious “program” known as Paperless Access. Much about Paperless Access remains mysterious. Its website also vanished.
As part of his plea agreement in the ASD case, Bowdoin has been banned from MLM, Internet programs and mass marketing.
I wonder if that marvelous attorney is Gerald Nehra??
Quick note: The URLs for both OneX and QLXchange now are throwing a “timed out” error message and would not return a ping.

Important UPDATE concerning Servers!
Hi Wayne,
As we told you last week the Website was being moved to a new server and under the control of new engineers and managers. This is an important move and will, in the long run, provide better information for everyone.
The databases that run the site were in such disarray it has taken longer to get the site back up and running than was expected.
This afternoon, the site appeared to many to have been shut down completely and to be gone completely. This is not the case.
During the Maintenance Time the servers was placed in a “Test Mode” or “Maintenance Mode”.
This allowed the home page to display the message that the site was under maintenance. Now that the site is almost ready to come LIVE again it is necessary to activate the IP Address which all Domain Names Servers around the world know as the site http://www.qlxchange.com.
This is the final step in making the site Live again.
Assuming there are no further problems the site should be ready for viewers on Tuesday. This does not mean all the functions will be ready to use but is another step in a long process.
We realize this is a technical update but we want to give you the best information we have. There is a scheduled Webinar on Tuesday night where more updates will be available.
It’s just amazing how many of these ‘programs’ have to keep ‘changing servers’.
I wonder if in their TOS they also say if you work in government you cannot become a member?
Wouldn’t it be funny if someone who did work for the government sued one of these programs whose TOS forbid any government employee from joing for discrimination.
What would be even funnier would be for one of these sites to try and sue one of its’ members for lying on or not abiding by the Terms of Service.
Sorry but my tongue covered my eye teeth and I could not see what I was typing. I meant “joining” not joing.
Actually LRM, it would be more fun if both situations happened.
I am sure once the site is back up you can read the TOS. Possibly do some research instead of assuming it’s an illegal scheme. Rather than basing it on Andy being involved from ASD which I know nothing about.
I am still waiting for someone to make it clear what makes it an illegal scheme. Does anyone that posts here have any idea how OneX works? Has the U.S. Department of Justice actually investigated OneX yet?
You know any of you are welcome to join QLXchange 100% free and find out what’s really going on. It won’t cost you a single penny to take a little time to attend a few webinars.
I can’t answer questions on what’s going on behind the scenes. But I do understand how it works. I’ll be glad to explain it. The company has never claimed that anyone would earn the $99,460. However, if you do the math the potential is there.
Again Patrick or anyone here, I ask you to explain what makes it illegal.
All commissions are based on product sales. Yes, it takes a lot of $5 products to be able to earn $99,460. It doesn’t happen by filling a 4×4 matrix. It happens when a person is serious about building a business teaches others to build their business.
OneX is not a HYIP,it’s an affiliate program that pays commissions on retail sales of product. The products are Lessons that teach, how to build a business. Lesson 1 costs $5 and teaches exactly the methods that a construction company that I used to work for uses daily. The company is more of a sales type company than construction, since most of it’s work is contracted out to contract laborers. This company is a multi-million $$$ company based in Tulsa.
My first cousin is one of their salesmen which they like to call agents.
He earns a six figure income yearly with this company using these techniques along side of their sales pitch. The sales pitch all depends upon what they are selling of course. He mainly does sun-rooms, although he sells a variety of remodeling projects within Oklahoma and surrounding states.
Is Lesson 1 worth $5…. I would say so. Just as the other Lessons I have purchased in my opinion have been worth well more than the purchase price. Not because of the earning potential that they provide within the company. But more so that I have learned something from each of them. I have currently purchased up to Lesson 5 which is an $80 Lesson.
I am unclear on why people seem to think that OneX is a scam or why it would be illegal. I know that they use a 4×4 matrix, but does this make it illegal? The 4×4 simply determines where the commissions are paid. It’s clear that people can’t see or simply don’t understand that a full 4×4 matrix of 340 people does not earn anyone $99,460. A lot of people focus on that amount and the earnings. Rather than building a business.
The focus should be on the products which teach you how to build a business.Whether it be their OneX and QLXchange business or a brick and mortar business. QLXchange has simply provided a way for people that are interested in building a business to obtain the entire collection of the 8 Lessons with only $5 out of pocket. Yes, a person can purchase all 8 Lessons if they choose to do so. They are also qualified to sell these Lessons as an affiliate of OneX as they purchase each Lesson. If they choose to do so.
The structure is setup to help all members earn and yes it’s possible to receive commissions even without selling the products. This where a lot of people get hung up. They come in expecting something for nothing. OneX is not a get rich quick scheme. In a 4×4 forced matrix your upline can only help you fill down to your 3rd row. 9 times out of 10 most aren’t going to be so lucky. If they are, the most they will earn is $18 from the row 1 purchases plus $57.60 from row 2 purchases. It’s up to them and their downline fill the 256 positions on row 4.
People need to understand that you only get paid when someone on Row 1 purchase Lesson 1, when someone on Row 2 purchases Lesson 2,someone on Row 3 purchases Lesson 3, and someone on Row 4 purchases Lesson 4.
The company now makes 10% of all product sales.Which I feel is more than fair.
So if your matrix is full with 340 people that have purchased all 4 Lessons in Stage 1 and Stage 2. You would have earned $99,460 when the company paid out 100%.
You now earn:
Stage 1
4 x $4.50 from Row 1 purchases
16 x #3.60 from Row 2 purchases
64 x #9.00 from Row 3 purchases
256 x $18.00 from Row 4 purchases
Stage 2
4 x $36.00 from Row 1 purchases
16 x #72.00 from Row 2 purchases
64 x #144.00 from Row 3 purchases
256 x $288.00 from Row 4 purchases
I’ll let you do the math….
Keep in mind that you must have purchased all 8 Lessons yourself to earn these commissions. This is now a total $1273.00 that you and each of the 340 paid for the entire product line.
Now for each affiliate that you sponsored, you earn a 22.5% matching bonus. Plus you now earn a 22.5% Leadership bonus on their personally sponsored.
Meaning each time anyone of your directly sponsored affiliates or anyone of their directly sponsored affiliates earn a commission you’ll earn 50% of whatever their commission was.
Example: If one of these people earn a $288.00 commission you earn a either a MB or LB of $144.00…. The same goes for a $3.60 commission.
Don’t get confused here. You are never required to purchase more than the $5 Lesson out of pocket. Also understand that you must have purchased a Lesson to be qualified to earn commissions on that Lesson. If you choose not to purchase Lesson 2 or any further Lessons from your commissions or out of pocket. When a someone on your row 2 purchases Lesson 2, the commissions are passed up to the next qualified member. It takes only 2 sales of Lesson 1 to earn enough commissions for the Lesson 2 purchase.
One last thing, I want to make clear. When someone purchases Lesson 1 for $5.00, they may not be purchasing from their sponsor. If their sponsor has already earned $18.00, meaning they have made 4 sales and their row 1 is full.Doesn’t matter where they came from. That person spills into the next available position in their sponsors matrix. They will land in someones Row 1, this person receives the commission. However, the sponsor remains the same.
So all in all I think they have a great business plan and commission structure for those that are looking to build a business. It’s not about earning $99,000. It’s about the sales of product and learning as you earn.
This is a fairly new business and they are still learning. If you have questions or you aren’t clear on something please feel free to ask.
I know this type of business isn’t for everyone. I am not trying to sell you. I just want to state the facts that I know. Simply because some crooks have joined OneX does not make it illegal or a scam.
If I have missed something that makes it illegal please fill me in.
One more thing before I’m off to bed….
Can you please post links to where you’re getting your info.
Thanks
Clearly, Wayne can’t be bothered to use the “search” button, so I did it for Wayne:
https://patrickpretty.com/2012/04/26/urgent-bulletin-moving-government-says-it-has-tied-andy-bowdoin-to-failed-adviewglobal-autosurf-prosecutors-also-cite-adsurfdaily-patriarchs-onex-sales-pitch-calling-program-a-fraudul/
Wayne… I don’t know how you do things down there on Redbud St. with your cordless drills, but if you bothered to check the Federal Trade Commission regulations covering advertising, the claims of turning $5 into X number of dollars are themselves a prohibited matter in ad copy, whether by a company or by an individual.
And after looking over the list of online programs you have joined and promoted, I get the general idea that you don’t know how to apply critical thinking and check out the claims being made before you jump in wholeheartedly.
If you knew anything about business you would know its not unusual for companies to need larger or better servers capable of the service needed when traffic grows and to be able to deal with the capacity of a large organization of people using the site.
I think Wayne was asking for proof as in documented evidence rather than a quote written by Mr.Patrick himself as quoted above. As of yes he has not been able to back up his statements .
This may help you understand why it is regarded as illegal

Make special note of, “However, on closer examination, the sales occur only between people inside the pyramid structure or to new recruits joining the structure, not to consumers out in the general public.”
Thom
I thought it was Broken Arrow and bathroom modeling? Or is it Coweta? Or is it a different person? Or perhaps a different address for each obvious ponzi scheme? One for JBP and Trippler 2 and zeekler, another for OneX?
Or he doesn’t care. As long as it’s PAYING!!!!! It must be REAL!!!!! And HONEST!!!!!
Here ya go, Aliyyah: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=sites&srcid=ZGVmYXVsdGRvbWFpbnxhc2R1cGRhdGVzZmlsZXN8Z3g6MzFlNzIyNzc3ZGNiNzUzNQ
I do know about business. Why do you think you even remotely know and somehow you are the only one? Never seen a legitimate business have the problems these ‘programs’ have. My friend works for a very, very large insurance company (far, far, far larger than any of these scams) and they just changed to new servers….all in a weekend. No business interruptions whatsoever. So, you didn’t answer the question.
Something these people have seemingly not noticed is that any “opportunity” that has Rayda Roundy or Andy Bowdoin in is can certainly be deemed as illegal. Their past record proves that, and Bowdoin pleaded guilty of Wire Fraud.
Thanks to Andy Bowdoin, QLXchange/OneX and all of it’s bastard children are now under the watchful eye of the DOJ and other law enforcement entities. Where Andy is, fraud cannot be far behind. When you are indicted, there will be your proof.
PS. No, it does not take this long to swap servers. It takes this long only if you hire your own nephews (and pay them well) because they went to ITT Tech. A professional hosting company, with post 1990 equipment, could have it done in days, not weeks.
Another amazing situation is how HYIP apologists will quite happily send off their hard earned to a total stranger in some far off place, yet demand not only “proof” but “documented” proof of any evidence which disagrees with their own point of view.
It must be tempting for lawmakers to consider the “Aliyyahs” and “Waynes” of this world get what they deserve, when HYIP ponzis like OneX disappear, along with their money.
I only suggested that “Wayne” was asking for proof , but the reply to him was not the proof he needed. Im not for the Programme here, i was just stating possible other flaws in replies thats all. There seems to be a lot of angry people here and thats fine, just wanted to clarify the reply to a question should be given as fact , not emotion, and thank you the fact was given . So thats that.
Aliyyah,
We are not necessarily angry.. we are tired of crooks, con men and the ne’er-do-well’s that frequent the defense of these programs. The try to obfuscate things with platitudes and worthless excuses when things go wrong.. we are just tired of the excuses and outright thievery.
